Huge win for Team USA on Wednesday night as they take down Bosnia-Herzegovina with a score of 2-0. The scorers of the game are Folarian Balogun, who also acquired a red card in the match, and Malik Tillman. Coming into the game Team USA were heavy favorites and showed out for it quickly taking momentum away from Bosnia-Herzegovina to advance to the Round of 16.

This is now their second time in a row making the Round of 16, including the previous world cup in Qatar in 2022. The first goal in the contest happened in the 45th minute and the second took place in the 82nd minute to ice the game from Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The team will be playing Belgium on Monday July 6th at 8 pm in the Round of 16, with Belgium scraping by Senegal after extra time on Wednesday as well. The last time Belgium had made it to the Round of 16 was in the 2018 world cup in Russia, having missed it in 2022 after being eliminated in group stage.

This matchup has major stakes for both countries, as team USA would not want to be upset In front of their own home crowd in Seattle and Belgium not wanting to fall short after beating Japan in their last trip this far into the World Cup in 2018.
