CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Seton Hall Pirates (6-15) made the trip to Ohio to face the Xavier Musketeers (20-2) in their second match of the weekend, losing three sets to none. points to win 25-15. The Musketeers had a .480 attack percentage in the opening set.
Following the first set, the Pirates fell further from making a comeback as they never

Seton Hall had a chance for another run at 17-12 but fell short once again, as Xavier
closed out the set with an 8-1 run. The Hall had a -.071 attack percentage in set
two.
The third set was more of the same. A kill by Alex Rasmussen cut The Hall's deficit
to 11-8 in set three. Xavier rallied back to 16-10 right after however. A kill from
Loukia Papadakos, who was making her season debut due to injury, and an ace by Safian
narrowed the score to 23-18. Regardless, Xavier closed out the match with a 25-19
set three victory.
Nelson, Reich and Safian led the way for the Pirates on the stat sheet. Reich tallied
six kills, only two attack errors and five digs. Safian had a team-high seven kills,
four digs and two blocks. For the team stats, the Pirates recorded 32 digs and 23

in the series. Seton Hall also recorded their fifth three-set loss in their second
straight match getting swept.
They will return to action on Friday, October 31 at 5:00 P.M. when they host the Providence
