With the Seton Hall Pirates looking to change up their tactics this season with a mix of veteran players and new faces, one new face in particular is looking to stand out. Jada Crawshaw, an Australian senior transfer from Georgia Tech, is looking to make her mark on the Pirates team this season.

Last season she played 19 games, all reinforcing Georgia Tech off the bench. She averaged 7.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 14.8 minutes per game. She reached her season high in points on January 26th against Syracuse. She later had another season high in field goals with 7 made and 14 points versus Cal on February 5th.

Crawshaw also put up great numbers against Virginia on January 8th when she secured 5 rebounds and 7 points. She had 14 points and 6 rebounds against Wofford on December 28th.

During her 2023-24 season with Long Beach State University, she played in all 33 games, all off the bench. She was named to the Big West All-Freshman Team and she led her team in rebounding on 6 different occasions while securing 2 double-doubles. Crawshaw averaged 6.7 points and 5.1 rebounds in 17.9 minutes per game.

In her second season with Long Beach State, she was a key player as both a reinforcer on the bench, but also as a powerful starter. She played in 29 games, 13 of which she started. She had 20 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 steals against CSUN.

She claimed a double-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists in the game against Cal State Fullerton on December 5th. She had her career high of 20 points in another game against Cal State Fullerton on January 18th.

In High School, Crawshaw played for the All-Australian Team and won the All-Schools Australian Championships. She also earned a spot on the U19 Aus Gems team.

Crawshaw has spent time building up her skills and capabilities as a basketball player. She has showcased her incredible talent as someone who supports her team off the bench. She has proved she has the unique ability to build off of her teammates and maintain a team's momentum to win a game.

However, her skills bring incredible starting capability to the Pirate’s squad as well. She has explosive power and skill that would complement the team and Coach Tony Bozzella’s style of play.

Either way she gets used, Crawshaw stands to be a huge asset to the team this season.
