Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 3-3

Atlanta Falcons: 3-3

New Orleans Saints: 2-4

Carolina Panthers: 1-5

The Bucs Get Shocked by the Steelers, 20-18

The Buccaneers offense again looked out of sync playing a depleted Pittsburgh Steelers defense. Tom Brady threw for 243 yards and one touchdown. Leonard Fournette led the rushing attack with 63 yards and Chris Godwin led the receiving with 95 yards.

The offense did not make any mistakes, they just could not capitalize in prime field position, settling for multiple field goals on the day. The defense was able to hold the Steelers offense to under 300 yards on the day, but could not make the big stops at the end of the game to get the win.

Next week, the Bucs have an away game against the Carolina Panthers.

Atlanta Handles San Francisco, 28-14

Head coach Arthur Smith has done tremendous work with this Falcons team so far this season. Their latest accomplishment: upsetting the 49ers.

Marcus Mariota went 13-14 with 129 yards and two touchdowns. The leading rusher, Charlie Huntley, ran for 59 yards, and the leading receiver Olamide Zaccheaus had a season-high of 58 receiving yards.

What sealed the game for the Falcons was the defense, who produced three turnovers on the day. With the three turnovers, the offense was able to take advantage of short fields, allowing them to score at will.

Next up for the Falcons is a road test against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Saints Lose a Close One Against the Bengals, 30-26

Andy Dalton and the Saints were not able to keep up with the high-powered Bengals offense, losing another tough game.

Dalton threw for 162 yards and one touchdown with a 53% throwing percentage. The rushing attack with Alvin Kamara was able to gain some traction with 99 yards on 19 carries while Tre’Quan Smith led the depleted receiving core with 43 yards and a touchdown.

The defense did its best to hold its own, but could not throw Joe Burrow off his rhythm at any point in the game.

The Saints take on the Cardinals in Arizona for their next game.

Panthers Get Blown Out by Rams, 24-10

The highlight of this game for the Panthers was Christian McCaffrey leading the offensive charge. He led his team in rushing with 69 yards and in receiving with 89 yards. PJ Walker had a very lackluster performance with 60 yards, with Jacob Eason coming into the game throwing for 59 yards.

The defense could not stop the high-powered Rams offense, letting up 360 yards and 22 first downs.

The headline of this game was Robbie Anderson getting kicked out by interim coach Steve Wilks and then Anderson getting traded the next day.

Next up for the Panthers is a home game against the Buccaneers.

Week 6 Awards

Marcus Mariota led the Falcons to an impressive win over the 49ers on Sunday.

This week's MVP goes to Marcus Mariota for helping to lead his team to an upset win against the 49ers. His stats were not insane, but he was offensively efficient and led the Falcons to scoring opportunities.

The offensive player of the week goes to Christian McCaffery. The Panthers offense is struggling severely, but McCaffery continues to excel and lead his team to the only offensive production on the field.

The defensive player of the week goes to AJ Terrell and the Falcons defense. They produced three turnovers against Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers high-powered offense. Terrell had a fumble recovery along with four tackles on the day covering Deebo Samuel.

Next week we will focus on the AFC South.
