10. Yo La Tengo – Stuff Like That There
This album is a mix of seven minute tracks, and one that isn’t even a minute long. It is all over the place, sort of like this list is. Either way, I am a huge fan of Yo La Tengo, and they released another solid album.

9. Wavves – V
Wavves is very electronic, and sometimes that is not what I’m a huge fan of here on Campus Buzz, but Wavves does a fantastic job still sounding indie with it, and I love this album a lot for it.

8. Young Empires – The Gates
This was an amazing album, and Young Empires did not disappoint this year.

7. New Order – Music Complete
Restless is one of my favorite tracks of the year, and this album has a lot of amazing tracks to accompany it.

6. Beach Slang – The Things We Do To Find People Who Feel Like Us
Beach Slang! I was very excited for this album to come out, and it did not disappoint. I also saw them perform on Friday, December 18th, when they performed with Taking Back Sunday at Starland.

5. Cage The Elephant – Tell Me I’m Pretty
This album only came out on Friday, December 18th, and yet I am already a huge fan of it! The two singles that came off of it were great, and I listened to it a lot the first day, and it quickly flew up my chart to number 5, which is well deserved.

4. Brick + Mortar – Dropped
This is a funny album for me, sometimes I am not in the mood for it and I won’t listen to it at all; while other times I can’t stop listening to it. This may not sound that unique, but when I did not feel like listening to them, I REALLY did not want to listen to them. With all of that being said enjoy a lot of tracks of this album, even though there wasn’t that many of them.

3. New Politics – Vikings
My aux cable broke when this album was released, and I listened to this in my car for a week every day when I drove to school, and I became obsessed. It has a wide range of tracks that were perfect for my variety of moods of the course of that week. Note: I do continue to listen to this album, it has held up after that week

2. Sorority Noise – Joy, Departed
Blissth was the first track I heard when I first got involved in Campus Buzz, and the rest of this album has not disappointed. This is one of the few albums that Ryan and I had in common, and for good reason. It is an incredibly solid album that I continue to find myself listening to over and over again.

1. No Devotion – Permanence
When I first started hearing the singles off this album, I became really excited for its release, and No Devotion did not disappoint with their debut album. Most of the songs had been released in the past year, but the songs that were not released early were well worth the wait. I’m excited to see what No Devotion has planned for the future.
