On Blood Divisions and How it came together

"What happened was it was a project that really wasn’t meant to be … I was actually doing work down in Florida and a buddy of mine Ed … That I’ve known since i was 15 or 16, he was in a band called Siren in Braiden, Florida. The same area that Nasty Savage came from … I called him up and i said “Hey you got a studio and I’m down here and its always been on my bucket list to record “Top of the Bill” by The Scorpions”, because Im a huge fan of early Scorpions. And he said “ that sounds good.” and we decided on a day, and he called me back up because he was really good friends with Chris Jericho. So he called me up and he said “Chris Jericho wants to know if he could sing it?” and I said “sure why not lets have a party.” After that I called up Ed and Asked him “you know what? While were dong this why don’t we rerecord a Nasty Savage song. Theres a song on the first album called the Morgue that I wrote and wrote the music to. … I said “Why don’t you see if Chris Jericho wants to to that to.” and Chris agreed. And then I called up some of my buddies of mine Terry Butler who’s in Obituary who was in Death. John Mahoney a local guitar player from a band called Fester, Ben Myers who was in Nasty Savage and Greg Gail from six feet under… I called Ralph Santola and asked him if he wanted to record solos and then when Chris Jericho got a hold of it he took it to another level, He’s buddies with Brian Stagal. And Brian was for it."

"I was on the way home and i was kinda think to my self, if this makes any one, all of a sudden this could get sour if theres money made and one guys not getting this, So i called Chris and said lets do the whole thing for charity? and Chris was down for it. And I worked on a charity and Metal Blade worked on a charity I posted on the Nasty Savage fan page on Facebook and we would give them credit on the CD. And Someone came up with the name Blood Divisions because were blood brothers in Metal but we are divided by bands… "
