WSOU Top 89 Countdown 2017

2017 was great for heavy music. Every year, WSOU counts down the best albums released. WSOU strives to bring our listeners only the best new jams out there while attempting to break the cream of the underground crop. This year we saw some awesome up-and-coming thrash, death, and hardcore bands. 

While 2017 saw a bunch of albums for the history books from Mastodon, Cannibal Corpse and Trivium, early 2018 is already jam packed with releases from the likes of Judas Priest, Machine Head and Black Label Society. Here’s to another year of heaviness!
