Seton Hall
New Music 11/9
Date: November 9, 2015Here's the new music added this week!
Vision of Disorder - Hours in Chaos
Long
Island natives VOD are back with another album! They premiered a bunch
of tracks when Brendan the Barbarian interviewed them on air last week,
so now we can finally hear the full album. They blend hardcore and
melody better than almost anyone. RIYL: Candiria, Bloodsimple, Earth Crisis
Turbid North - The Pyramid Drones
A
pretty brutal death metal band from Alaska, but if you're coming from
that climate I don't blame you for making extremely heavy music. In
between the heaviness they have a lot of really cool, progressive
sounding, guitar solos.
RIYL: Allegaeon, Continuum, Binary Code
Brick by Brick - In Memory
Brick
by Brick are a beatdown HC band that is from upstate NY but plays
Jersey shows all the time, so a lot of you may be familiar with them. On
this album they do a a really interesting bdown cover of Brohymn by
Pennywise which is interesting to say the least.
RIYL: No Zodiac, Cold Hard Turth, Xibalba
Manegarm - Call of the Runes
Manegarm
are a Viking metal band with a some folk/black metal influences. In
their previous albums the black metal influences were a lot more
apparent, but they shied away from it in this album/song.
RIYL: Finterforst, Thyrrfing, Heidevolk
Transport League - Black Mountain
A
stoner rock band that really follows the Clutch formula with a little
heavier vibe to them, but if you dig that Clutch sound, you'll love
this.
RIYL: Clutch, Corrosion of Conformity, The Sword
Vastum - Amniosis
Another
really heavy death metal band that follows an OSDM sound with some
modern influences in it as well. This is easily going to be one of the
heavier records of the year.
RIYL: Death, Skinless Devourment As always, if you see something you like, request it at 9737619768!
