Club Sessions

Sundays 10 p.m. - 12 a.m.

With guest DJs, live in-studio sets and plenty of shoutouts, Club Sessions is all about house music.  Stigz brings the fresh beats every week.

 

Out of Babylon

Thursdays 10 p.m. - 12 a.m.

Out of Babylon showcases the Loudest Rock from a Christian perspective. 

 

Punk U

Tuesdays 8 p.m. - 10 p.m.

One of WSOU's longest-running specialty shows has the best in punk both past and present, as spun by Irish Mike and E-Bish.  Catch their Dancefloor Breakdown every week at 9 p.m. - a whole half hour of ska, dub and reggae.  

 

Streamlined

Mondays 10 p.m. - 10 p.m. 

Streamlined is a place for new WSOU listeners to start out.  Stank bridges the gap between WSOU's Loudest Rock and, well, those... other "Rock" stations, by bringing you the best in hard alternative rock.  

 

Street Patrol

Wednesdays 8 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Street Patrol's got its finger on the pulse of the vibrant NY/NJ hard rock scene.  Every week, That Guy spins local and unsigned bands, some of which face the world-famous Yank Or Crank!  It's trial by fire - if the listeners like it, it stays. If the listeners hate it, it's CD-smashing time!

 

Storming the Ramparts

Wednesdays 8 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Speed metal, power metal, folk metal, symphonic metal, Viking metal -- if the attitude is huge and the sound is metal, then Captain Morgan plays it! It's the most epic two hours of radio you may hear each week!

 

The Campus Buzz

Sundays 8 p.m. - 10 p.m.

College is a great place to hear new music.  The Campus Buzz keeps you up to date on the best new stuff on the indie and alternative scenes, all while paying respect to old classics who were once underground as well.  It's a great way to relax on your Sunday nights. 

 

That Other 70s Show

Mondays 8 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Stype starts your week off with a trip back in time to a great decade of rock - and he always finishes off with a doubleshot of Pink Floyd.  This show gets a lot of requests every week - get yours in too!

 

New Music Fridays (Featuring The Pirated Advance)

Fridays 9 p.m. - ???

The cornerstone of WSOU's Friday nights - right after the Top 10 Countdown at 8 p.m. Sheigh Hey Hey spins a new album by one of WSOU's artists in its entirety - often before you can get it in stores!  There's a new album every week, and there's multiple chances to win a copy of the week's featured album as she plays it!

 

Under The Stars

Tuesdays 10 p.m. - 12 a.m.

Hosted by Jen and Diesel Dani, post-hardcore, screamo and related sounds are the focus of Under the Stars.  You'll want to tune in as much for the music as you will the banter - it's a real good time.


Vintage 80s

Thursdays 8 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Vintage 80s brings you the best of all 80s metal - and The Jackhammer takes requests!  This show is one of WSOU's oldest, and the dedicated listeners keep it going!

 

Whatchu Been Missin'

Mondays 12 a.m. - 2 a.m.

End your Sunday nights with Whachu Been Missin', WSOU's newest specialty show.  Every week, DJ Quicksand showcases the best in underground and mainstream hip-hop.
