NEMHF Exclusive Interview: Nails

Here's an Exclusive interview with Todd from Nails, Listen as Tommy talks to him about playing the New England Metal and Hardcore Festaival, the Origins of the bands name, the visions of their music and lyrics.

On the origins of their name:

"Just something that I came up with off of the top of my head, I thought it looked cool the letters together and everything ... once you hear the word nails you can kind figure out kinda what its about, its straight forward and lean, and how we would describe our sound..."

Being at New England Metal and Hardcore Festival:

Its a festival and all festivals are similar in the way that they run and as far as being Different I don't know, its cool, I know people here, I feel comfortable here its not so much different other than its comfortable and nice. We generally are booked on festivals that treat us real well, it feels good to be here..."

On the vision of the bands music and lyrics:

"Our vision is to write heavy, hard, fast music, with a punk rock edge to it, and a metal chunk to it, and a hardcore rawness to it. Lyrically my vision to relate to people who have felt marginalized..."
