WSOU Exclusive Interview: Lorna Shore

Here's an exclusive interview with Adam from Lorna Shore! Rohit asked him about touring, genre classification, recording for the new album, hearing his songs on the radio, and more!

His thoughts on the over-classification of music today: 

"I hate the classification, I feel like everyone's putting themselves in a narrow box, instead of just a wider spectrum of just "you enjoy heavy music or metal or whatever" it's kind of just like "you like these three adjective genre"... I just remember being able to like a band because they were just metal... You like what you like because it sounds good, people are just trying to narrow themselves into this neat box to help themselves fall asleep at night or whatever it may be. I'm not into classification that goes on today."

On the upcoming album:

"We went to the Studio in the middle of November, finished recording in December. We're hoping to have the album come out in the next couple of months, so real excited about that. We've been sitting on the EP for a while now... we've had it for a while so we're excited to actual come out with all fresh new material."
