NEMHF Exclusive Interview: Exodus

Here's an exclusive interview with Tom of Exodus! Listen to Ryan talk with him about the band's latest tour, the latest album, the recording process, and more!

On the touring with Testament:

"It's awesome I mean, it's a killer package. It's a bay-area sock in the jaw, so we're having a good time... We never did any touring with Testament back in the day, it never really materialized... It's a good tour, we're both veteran bands at this and we're having a good time. It's a good package, it's a good show, and fans are going away happy."

On how the band has progressed:

"When we first started we were learning our craft, we were super young and hungry. Now, I guess the process hasn't really changed the way we write songs, we jam. The songs come about in a very organic way. Gary painstakingly comes up with riffs and comes over to my house and we work out how the drums are gonna go with the riff and we build songs. The process hasn't really changed the whole time. We're a fortunate band to be around, survive the things we have, and I feel fortunate to be in a band that has made 10 records. I humble myself to that every day."
