About the tour to promote their new album “Silence in the Snow”

“Its been great! I’m really excited about the record. The songs and the music videos we’ve put out have been getting great reactions, people seem to be really digging the new material. Compared to the last couple of records, there seems to be and extra excitement surrounding the build up, so were really excited to how everything is starting off. It's a week and a half till it finally comes out, so I’m really excited for every on to hear the full record and hear the whole thing from start to finish cause it need to be listed to, every song has its purpose.”

On touring with Tremonti

“Its been cool, we’ve known those guys, they’re from Orlando as well, so I’ve known everyone, besides from the bass player thats filling in for them, he’s actually played in local bands as well, Ive known everyone in Tremonti just from meeting them at shows and hanging out and everyone on the tour, just complements each other its a good fit...”

On the inspirations for the album

“We definitely had a goal starting off with what we wanted to accomplish with the record, and it was a lot of things with it. We just kept writing songs until we got the songs that fit the big picture. We started off with the song Silence in the Snow, which has been a song that has been around for seven years, we wrote it back in 2007 , and it didn’t get used on the Shogun record and its been just sitting around and its always been a song that we knew there was something there, but it didn’t really fit what what we’re doing with the past couple of records. When we were talking about the record That song just kinda fit and we brought it back and started working on it again and fixing the parts, because it it never really got the love it needed the writing process. So that song became the genesis of the record where it was the starting point and we grew off that and just, the inspiration of how that song was created back in the day, spawned the rest of the record in that sort of vein...
