WSOU’s Thank God For Monday Presents Special Programing for May

South Orange, N.J. –WSOU's Thank God For Monday radio show is offering a series of specially-focused programs tied to events and celebrations that occur throughout May. The series will present shows tied to Teacher Appreciation Week, Mother's Day, National Nurses Week, and college commencement.

"May is a wonderful month as it presents the opportunity to reflect on the accomplishments and challenges of fall and winter while supplying the inspiration of spring renewal to look ahead to new possibilities," says Thank God For Monday host Brother Greg Cellini. "Our programs in May are designed to capitalize on this spirit to help listeners find encouragement and motivation to pursue their own goals and dreams."

Thank God For Monday airs Saturday mornings at 8:30 a.m.on 89.5 FM WSOU and can be streamed live fromwww.wsou.net and on the iHeartRadio app. Brother Greg's guests for the rest of the month include:    

·May 9–In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week and Mother's Day, Brother Greg speaks with teacher and working mother Jannette Coco about the challenges and joys of balancing career and motherhood. Ms. Coco currently works for the Somerville, N.J. school system and has an inspiring story about how to achieve your dreams despite obstacles. 

·May 16-Verlia M. Brown, author of My Journey on Becoming a Nurse, is Brother Greg's guest for National Nurses Week. A critical care nurse at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. before retiring in 2012, Ms. Brown discusses why nursing is often an underappreciated profession and how being raised by her grandparents after her mother's death helped give her the drive to become a nurse.

·May 23–With tens of thousands of students graduating from college throughout the New York market this month, Brother Greg interviews Vicky Oliver, author of five books on career development, about how to "dress for success" and make a memorable impression during an interview or the first few weeks on the job.

·May 30–Continuing with advice for members of the class of 2015, Brother Greg speaks with Designing your Ideal Life author Becky Lynn Smith about how recent graduates, as well as midcareer professionals, can create a blueprint for success and happiness.
