So Hideous Album Debut

On Friday, October 16th So Hideous's sophomore release, Laurestine, comes out on Prosthetic Records, but WSOU will be giving you a chance to hear and listen to the full album, not only before it comes out, but before you can hear it anywhere else! On Thursday, October 8th at 7PM, we will be spinning the full album along with giving away four copies of the release in order the celebrate the band's album.

Laurestine continues where Last Poem/First Light left off, with combining the harshness of black metal, with the melody of post-rock to make one of the most beautiful and harsh records you will ever hear. The album explores the seven minutes in between life and death in which there is supposed brain activity. The album, which is seven tracks long, takes the seven minutes as going through memories and giving a proper rest to yourself, as you're dying.
