Innovative Festival Debuts in Hoboken

HOBOKEN, N.J. (May 19) – The Propeller Innovation Festival will highlight prominent science and technology ,innovators of the northeast region on Friday, May 20 at Pier A. Running from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., the festival will feature dozens of speakers, exhibitors, and musical performances. The speakers include CEOs, founders, investors, directors, and more from dozens of well-known companies, such as Verizon, CNBC, Audible, Six Flags, and multiple experts from nearby universities.

The headlining performers are The Naked and Famous and Nokia Bell Lab’s very own Human Digital Orchestra. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in various competitions taking place during the day. Such competitions include the chance to win a startup and a chance to be featured in “The Entrepreneur.” There will be interactive activities such as a look at the future of Audible by Amazon, a virtual reality sound chamber, a gaming zone, and the opportunity to take a selfie on a blimp.

The festival organizers have taken to social media for promotion, using #letspropel. Tickets offer more than just entry into the festival, according to Propeller’s website. Each ticket includes a one year subscription to Entrepreneur Magazine, a free audiobook download, a one hour business coaching session, and more. Nokia Bell Labs is also incentivizing guests to attend early by offering free breakfast for the first 1,000 guests before 10 a.m.
