Classic Album Review: One of These Nights

Date: June 22, 2015

On June 10th, 1975, The Eagles came out with one of their best selling album that still remains iconic till this day. The album, One of These Nights, was the first one to top the charts and sold over 4 million copies. With classics such as "One of These Nights" and "Lyin' Eyes" reaching top chart positions, it's no mystery why this album was very successful. This was also the last album to feature guitarist Bernie Leadon, who would be replaced by Joe Walsh; thus starting the "Joe Walsh Era." Despite still having that same country/folk rock sound, this album, in my opinion, is the last of the "soft side" of the Eagles. Once Joe Walsh started playing guitar for the band, it gained a lot of edge, as we can see in the classic "Hotel California." This shift is what makes this album very important and very legendary.
