Downset- Why We Can't Wait
A 90s hardcore punk band that had a big influence on a lot of modern metal and hardcore bands. They've reunited and they're still pretty hardcore, while still being all about the social issues that formed the punk movement in the first place.
Similar Bands: Sick of it All, Agnostic Front, Biohazard
Ill Nino- Are We So Innocent
Self described "Latin Metal", Ill Nino are some veteran Jersey metal guys. All about loyalty to family and friends, this track has a good deal of clean vocals as well as some crunchy riffs at the beginning and end.
Similar Bands: Mudvayne, Killswitch Engage, Sevendust
Within the Ruins- Calling Card
Some seriously harsh metalcore from Massachusetts. Breakdowns, synth, and growling are all over this. If you're a metalcore or deathcore kid get in on this.
Similar Bands: Whitechapel, Thy Art is Murder, Oceano
Boneyard- Carnival of Terror
This came out of seemingly nowhere. Some macabre "grind-n-roll" as they call it, about the dead rising from their graves and all the stuff that comes with that. To put it simply, the vocals sounds like they hurt.
Similar Bands: Impaler, Cannibal Corpse, Autopsy
King of Asgard- Remnant of the Past
From the album "Karg", which in English means "barren", and that is definitely the tone they were going for with this. Heavy Norse Viking metal that is meant to be harsh, dark, and contemplative.
Similar Bands: Vader, Vintersorg, Candlemass
Mutilaiton Rites- Gravitational Collapse
Brutal Blackened Metal from NYC, mutilation rites is pure heavy intensity and gravitational collapse really lives up to the name.
Similar Bands: Nails, Trap them, Gorguts
