New Music for 5-4-15

Date: May 4, 2015
Here is the new music added for the week:

Skinless - Serpenticide: One of the original Brutal Death Metal bands. It is their first album in about 10 years so this continues the run of 90s Death Metal bands reuniting and re-recording.

Kamelot - Insomnia: Exactly what you would expect from new Kamelot. They're just about to end the first leg of their tour with Dragonforce, before going on their second leg in the fall.

Korpiklanni - Lempo: Exactly what you would expect from new Korpiklanni. They're probably one of the biggest bands in folk metal right now as well.

Nekrogoblikon - Full Body Xplosion: They describe themselves as Goblin Metal, but they shy away from goblins in this song and sing about bodies exploding. Still equally as amazing.

Unleashed - Defenders of Migard: Considered one of the inventors of Viking based Melodeath. They also have a lot of songs based off of J. R. R. Tolkien books.

The Bloodline - Becoming the Disease: This band used to be called Dirge Within, but changed their name for this new album. The founder is the guitarist from Broken Hope, which is surprising because The Bloodline sound nothing like them, there's some pretty heavy parts of this song coupled with some really catchy, hard rock choruses.

Acrassicauda - Rise: Really groovy metal from Baghdad. They blew up a couple years ago when Vice did a documentary on them and after being a band for 14 years they're about to release their first full length album.

Wisdom in Chains - Violent Americans: A very punky hardcore band from Pennsylvania. They started off as a collaboration between  Dutch and American hardcore bands and you can definitely hear the European punk influences in their music

Expect to hear these tracks this week! We're always excited to get new music. You can hear all that and more only here at 89.5 FM WSOU!
