The Swedish electronic producer and DJ has finally dropped his debut studio album 'Forever' following years of anticipation. The album, which dropped on Def Jam Recordings, shows how Alesso has grown as an artist since he first started out. Over the past few years, his name has risen in the dance music world as he has had the opportunity to work with artists such as Usher, Avicii, Sebastian Ingrosso and David Guetta. On 'Forever', the collaborations continue with OneRepublic, Calvin Harris and Tove Lo.

The album opens up on a high note with intro tracks "Profondo" and "PAYDAY" which instantly give off the party vibe with a booming electro house sound. 'Forever' then transitions into the dance hits with the radio staple "Heroes" and the heated club track "Tear the Roof Up". His current single, "Cool" featuring Roy English, keeps the flow going with a passionate progressive house sound and a solid emotional vocal delivery.

As 'Forever' turns towards the middle of the album, there is no slump here, as "Scars" featuring Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and "Sweet Escape" featuring Sirena sound ready to be released as future singles. "Destinations" and "If It Wasn't For You" switch gears from the intensity of potential singles to the melodic vibe of these quality album tracks. "In My Blood" is another quality album track with progressive house elements.

The final part of the album features Alesso's collaborative hit with Calvin Harris and Hurts, "Under Control", the lyrically powerful "All This Love" featuring Noonie Bao and Alesso's remix of "If I Lose Myself" by OneRepublic, which became a monster hit at music festivals. The album closes with "Immortale", a standout ballad.

'Forever' works because of its cohesion. All of the songs blend together nicely. Each track is unique yet still works together as a whole. Describing the album, Alesso said, "
