Heavy metal, we’re very big fans of the era of metal from the early to mid 80’s, 70’s stuff; the new wave of British heavy metal, the Us mid 80’s power metal scene that Metallica came out of, bands like that. A lot of the german metal scene, were just big fans and record collectors as well and we want to play the music that we the most fond of which is heavy metal...
On their old band Goat Horn and progressing from doom to traditional heavy metal
That was all very natural, when Goat Horn was progressing in more of a power metal direction with our last Ep. We had a full length record planned with our classic doom, heavy metal sound but that never came out, so we started with the 4 songs I had left over and the just happened to be the 4 songs that were on the more upbeat side...
On their upcoming album In Ruin
Best one yet! - we make albums and not singles, so it flows very well as an album, Definatly has its highlights, We ordered in in a way that flows very well from start to finish. It has its peaks and valleys, we’re happy with it...
