Byzantine Interview

Heavy metal band, Byzantine sits down to talk with us about their new album Cicada Tree, before their show at Gramercy Theatre. The guys discuss being newly signed to the notable label, Metal Blade records, and their hardships getting there. From breaking down in Canada and leaving behind their van mid-tour, to the production on their new album, Byzantine details their devotion to music and overcoming obstacles, to play for their fans.  Cicada Tree gives Byzantine’s sound a resurgence with their groove and progressive metal style, overall earning the Charleston band the comeback they deserve.
