holidays by giving YOU the listeners 12 DAYS OF METAL!!!!

shift you will have a chance to win some awesome prizes and be entered
into the grand prize drawing which will be revealed this
12 DAYS OF METAL Contest Rules
How to Enter the Contest:
1. No purchase or donation is necessary to enter or win.
2. The 12 DAYS OF METAL contest will begin on Thursday, December 9th
2010, and run
through, Friday, December 24th 2010, when the grand prize winner will

3. There will be one prize with one winner during each daytime DJ
10AM-1PM, 1PM-4PM, 4PM-8PM)
4. To participate in the contest, eligible listeners must respond when
they hear the “METAL
JINGLE” audio cue. The 89th caller will be selected as the winner.
5. All winners during the 4-8PM drive time DJ shift will be entered
into the grand prize
6. One entry per person, per household.
1. The contest is open to WSOU listeners 18 years of age and older.
2. WSOU student staff members, station volunteers, and employees of
University are ineligible to participate or win.
3. Winners who win a prize during the 12 DAYS OF METAL are ineligible
to win another
prize from WSOU for the next 30 days.
4. Listeners who have won another WSOU prize between November 9th 2010
December 8th 2010 are not eligible to participate in this contest as
per WSOU’s “30 Day
5. Grand prize winner must be able to accommodate WSOU in their
household, and the
home’s owner must give consent for the live broadcast. Such consent
must be in writing
and provided to WSOU before broadcast. If WSOU judges the consent to
or otherwise deems that the live remote broadcast prize cannot be done
from the winner’s
household, WSOU reserves to right to substitute a different location
for the remote
broadcast, including but not limited to WSOU’s studios. (See sample

end of this document)
Selection of Winners:
1. One winner will be chosen during each daytime DJ shift (6AM-10AM,

The Grand Prize of the 2010 12 Days of Metal contest requires consent

other electronic or other medium
presently in existence or invented in the future) for any purpose that
WSOU, Seton Hall University and
those acting pursuant to its authority, deem appropriate, including
promotional, recruiting, advertising and
any commercial or non-commercial use.
I hereby release WSOU and Seton Hall University from and against any
and all claims, demands, actions,
causes of actions, suits, costs, expenses, liabilities, and damages
whatsoever that I may hereafter have
from liability for any violation of any personal or proprietary right

use of my likeness, voice, or name in any medium. I understand and
agree that all such recordings, in
whatever medium, shall remain the property of WSOU and Seton Hall

Property Owner’s Consent:
I irrevocably grant to WSOU and Seton Hall University and its assigns,
licensees and successors the right
to enter onto the property listed above and to broadcast, record,

sound and images of the property in all forms and media including

throughout the world and in perpetuity for the following purposes:
I waive the right to inspect or approve the manner in which the audio
or images of the property are used
and waive the right to inspect any text that is used in connection
with the images of the property.
WSOU shall enter onto the property on the following day and time:

receive no compensation whatsoever.
WSOU and Seton Hall University are not obligated to utilize any of the
rights granted in this Agreement.
Warranty, Indemnity & Release: I warrant that I am the owner of
the property and have the authority
to grant the rights under this agreement and agree to indemnify WSOU
and Seton Hall University from
any claims regarding my ownership of the property. I release WSOU and
Seton Hall University and
its assigns, licensees and successors from any claims that may arise
regarding the use of the audio and
images of the property. I hereby also release WSOU and Seton Hall
University from and against any and
all claims, demands, actions, causes of actions, suits, costs,
expenses, liabilities, and damages whatsoever
that I may hereafter have from the use of the assigned property.
I have read and understood this agreement. This Agreement expresses
understanding of the parties.
