WSOU Wins AP Awards
The New Jersey Associated Press Broadcasters Association has awarded student-run WSOU two Radio Awards for station reporting in 2007:In the Best College Production Categories, WSOU's News Department took first place for its breaking news coverage of the Benazir Bhutto assassination, while Global Current was awarded Honorable Mention for weekly public affairs shows.
Tune in, turn it up, and rock out... WSOU is also the broadcast home for Seton Hall athletics and airs religious, public affairs and community programming on the weekends, not to mention the LOUDEST ROCK.
